Bob Ross
Bob Ross!!! Was he important, was he happy, was he mean? All these answers can be found in this biography. Was he known, was he bad or good?
Before Painting Bob Ross served in the military for 20 years and worked his way up to a master sergeant. The hair. Bob Ross never liked his hair but used it to save money on haircut means. He also thought it had a lot of marketing potential and even had it incorporated into his line of painting products. Mean Ross, when Bob Ross left the military, he vouched never to yell again. In his interview he said, “I was the one to make you scrub the latrine, the one to make you make your bed, the one to yell at you for being late to work.
Working in the military means you must be a mean, tough person. I was fed up with it.” Animals. Bob Ross made a show for animals and animals only, and he loved them. He even had a squirrel named, Peapod the pocket squirrel.
Lost finger. Bob Ross lost his left index finger when he was doing wood work. Fortunately, he was right handed so it didn’t affect his painting. Most people didn’t notice because he was always holding a pallet on his show: Joy of painting. Sad Ross. Bob Ross was often criticized for being a “Formulaic” or a “Commercial exploiter.” He said “I have no desire for acceptance from the contemporary art world. All I want to do, is teach people to love painting.”
Joy of Painting. Bob Ross was so fast at painting that he filmed a 13, episode season in just over 2 days! He never was paid by PBS but sold products. Bob Ross incorporate Makes $15 million a year! How many paintings did he make? Bob Ross made about 3,000 paintings and used them for fundraisers.
So, over all Bob Ross is just a great person in my opinion... (well... after the military.) I like him because he wants to help small animals and save them. My favorite animal he had is Peapod the pocket squirrel.
