Eleanor Roosevelt

Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was born on October/11/1884. Eleanor had an unhappy childhood having suffered both parent's death. Eleanor's father was Elliott Roosevelt the younger brother of Theodore Roosevelt. Eleanor's mother died when Eleanor was eight years old. Eleanor and her two younger brothers went to live with her grandma, shortly after the younger brother died. When Eleanor was not yet ten she learned her father had died and when Eleanor was fifteen her grandmother sent her to boarding school near London, England.

Eleanor married Franklin Roosevelt on March/17/1905.Between 1906-1916 the Roosevelts had six children one of which died as an infant. Eleanor was the first lady and gave radio broadcasts. Eleanor wrote a column that showed up in the newspaper.
Eleanor was a political leader. While Franklin pursued his political ambitions to become a leader. A major turn hit in Eleanor's life in 1921, Franklin suffered paralysis and lost the use of his legs.

Eleanor Roosevelt was an American politician and activist who served as First Lady during the presidency of her husband Franklin D. Roosevelt. After the United States formally entered World War II in 1941, she made numerous trips overseas to boost the spirits of troops and to inspect Red Cross facilities. On April/12/1945 Franklin died of a stroke. Eleanor was sad but wanted to continue their work. Eleanor Roosevelt died in November/1962, she was buried next to her husband, Franklin.

Mary Todd Lincoln

Today I'm going to tell you a little about Mary Todd Lincoln. A wife to a president.

Mary Todd Lincoln was born in 1818 Lexington Illinois. Mary's grandfather Levi Todd was one of the founders of Lexington Illinois. Mary's nickname was Molly. Mary was married to Abraham Lincoln for 23 years. Mary and Abraham got married on November/4/1842. Mary Ann Todd's Family: Mary's dad's name was Robert Smith Todd. Mary's mother's name was Eliza Ann Parker.

My sons were: Robert was 82 when he died. Tad was 18 when he died. Willi was 11 when he died .Eddie was 3 when he died. Mary was 63 when she died. Abraham was 56 when he died.

People have reported seeing my 11 year old son Willie Lincoln ghost who died in the White House in 1862 of TYPHOID FEVER. Staff Members of the Grant Administration first saw Willie's ghost in the 1970's. Willi was seen as recently as the 1960's. Lynda Bird Johnson saw the ghost because she had been staying in the room Willi died in. Lynda Johnson talked with Willi's ghost.

President Abraham Lincoln was shot by John Wilks Booth in Fords Theater in Washington D.C. Abraham Lincoln died the next morning.

Abraham Lincoln's ghost: Abe's ghost is the most well known ghost in the White House. The first person to see this ghost was first lady Grace Coolidge who lived in the White House in the 1920's.

Mary was married to the nation's most popular presidents. Mary's father was a co-owner of a cotton mill. Robert S. Todd went to Transylvania University and became a lawyer. Eliza A. Parker came across the plains to Salt Lake Valley at the age of eight years old.

When I was a little girl I watched my father go to the COTTON MILL CO. every morning and come home every night. When I was an adult I went to the bar and met the nicest bar tender named Abe soon after me and Abe got married. We had 4 sons, Robert, Tad, Willie, and Eddie."
