Kamala Harris
Better than Trump
By Ada
Hello! This essay is about Kamala Harris and how she came so close to becoming the first woman to be president of the United States. Today I will be telling you about her political career, childhood, her accomplishments, and her hobbies and favorites. I hope you enjoy my presentation.
First, I will talk about her political career. In 2003 she was elected as the district attorney of the city and county of San Francisco, in 2016 Kamala was elected as senator for California. In July 2024 President Joe Biden announced that Kamala Harris would be his vice president.2019 she became vice president to Biden. On the sad, sad day of November 5, 2024, Trump beat Kamala Harris in the presidential election.
Now let's learn about Kamala Harris’s childhood. Kamala was born October 20, 1964, in Oakland California. She was the daughter of immigrants; her dad is Jamaican and her mother is Indian. When she was 12 years old she and her family moved to Montreal, Canada.
Now I will talk about Kamala Harris’s accomplishments. Kamala Harris was the first African American and the first woman to serve as attorney general, first African American woman to be vice president, and the first woman to be vice president. She was the first graduate of an HBCU to be sworn as the vice president of the U.S.A.
Lastly, I will tell you about Kamala Harris’s favorite things. Kamala’s favorite food is gumbo, and her favorite color is pink. Her favorite curse word is something I probably shouldn't talk about here. Kamala’s favorite drink is California white wine, and her favorite sport is Formula 1 racing. Her last favorite thing is her hobby, which is cooking.
Thank you for reading my essay. I had a really good time learning about Kamala Harris, and I think she is really interesting, and I hope you did to. If you are a Republican and resent Kamala, then you can suck it up.
