Anne Boleyn, is she just your classic Queen of England or is there more to her life? Keep reading to find out.

First, I will talk about her family and friends. Rumors went around about her relationship with her brother (George Boleyn), but they were not true. They were rumors spread by her potential enemies who wanted King Henry VII (Yes, she was his 2nd wife) to remarry. Did you know that Anne Boleyn was the mother of Queen Elizabeth the 1st . Queen Elizabeth the 1st reined for 44 years.

Now I will talk about Anne Boleyn's life before marriage. Anne Boleyn was the Maid of Honor for King Henry’s previous wife, Catherine of Aragon. Anne Boleyn did not want to be a mistress and pushed for marriage, which changed history by forcing King Henry VII to break away from the Roman Catholic Church.

Next, I will share some fun facts. She played a key role in breaking away from the Roman Catholic Church, which led to the creation of the Church of England. Anne Boleyn was both admired and disliked for her lively personality. She promoted the reading of the scripture in English. The scripture was typically written in Latin. That made religion more accessible for people. Anne Boleyn was buried in the Chapel of St. Peter ad Vincula in an unmarked grave.

Finaly I will talk about her Execution. King Henry VII ordered a skilled swordsman for her execution (instead of the typical axe) so her death would be quicker, cleaner, and more merciful. Anne Boleyn died 490 years ago, on May 19,1536.

Anne Boleyn was so fun to learn about! It is hard to believe all these things happened to her. I hope you enjoyed my research!

Marie Antionette

By Lainey

Hello, I am going to be talking to you about Marie Antoinette. I put a lot of work and effort into this research on Marie. I hope you enjoy it.

Marie was a French queen who started a revolution and had 8 kids. She also got killed at an incredibly young age.

Her early life went a little like this;

Marie was born on November 2 ,1755, in Vienna Austria. She was her parent's favorite daughter. She got married the French prince [crown prince] in 1770. She got married at an incredibly early age of 14. Less than 20 years after she became queen she got killed. Life bored her, so she entertained herself with balls. The French people chopped off her head. Her oldest son died when the revolution started.  Marie Antoinette was the beautiful queen of France.

Her plotting helped undermine the monarchy. The young queen was lively and extravagant. The stiff format of court life bored her. So, she embarrassed herself with such pleasure as fancy balls, theatricals, and gambling.

Marie lacked a good education and cared little for serious affairs. She did not hesitate to urge the dismissal of the able ministers of France whose efforts to reduce royal spending threatened and her pleasures. Louis xvi gave her the chateau called the petit tradition, where the queen and her friends embarrassed themselves. Marie became very unpopular and had been blamed for the corruption of the French court.

She lavished money on court favorites and paid no attend ChΓ©n to Frances fiscal crisis. Vicious stories

Why I picked this person is because I think she is interesting, and I think everyone should know her story. I hope you liked it.

That is all folks!! 😊

Queen Elizabeth II

By Maddie
This is the story of Queen Elizabeth the II and why she is important. Queen Elizabeth is important because she is kind and helpful. She is willing to come and help even if she has things to do. Every Christmas you can send her an email or postcard. Now on to her childhood.
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was born April,21,1926 at Windsor castle. She was born to Duke of York and Queen mother. She did not have a normal childhood because she grew up in a castle so she did not met many other kids. Now lets talk about her adulthood.
Becoming the queen, Queen Elizabeth 2 was married Nov.,20,1947 and was married to Philip      Mountbatten and later coronated on June,2,1947. Now you might be wondering what queen Elizabeth II is queen of well she is queen of the United kingdom, Great Britain, and Northern Ireland. Now lets talk about her accomplishments.
Queen Elizabeth 2 has political powers, but she does not control the government. No one thought she would be queen, but she has been queen for 60 years. Now to my conclusion.
In all I think Queen Elizabeth 2 is just a fun lady and I would love to meet her one day.
