Hedy Lamarr had a double life. The public knew her as a glamorous movie star; she was known worldwide. But in her private life she was a brilliant inventor, only her closest friends knew. Today you will learn about Hedy’s childhood, acting career, inventions, and final her World War 2 efforts. Let's dive in.

First, will we learn about her childhood. Hedy Lamarr was born Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler on November 9, 1914. She was a daughter of a Jewish family and had a calm childhood. Hedy Lamarr has aways been very curious like Trying to impro things. Hedy’s Farther shared his love of science with her on their walks at the park in Vienna, Austria and so did Hedy. Young Hedy was crazy for motion pictures, whenever possible she’d sneak off to a movie theater when returning home, Hedy reenacted her favorite scenes, playing all the parts herself. Always dreaming, Hedy wanted to escape into the movie. By the time Hedy was a teenager, she decided to drop out of school and seek fame as an actress. She was a student of the theater director. Her first role was a bit part in 1930 “Money on the street.”

Let's head on over to Hollywood! Hedy’s first job was as a script girl at a movie station in Vienna, when the opportunity came up to be an extra in a movie. She won a minor role in a restaurant scene, this bit part, giving Hedy her first steps. Hedy Lamarr 5th film in German set her on fire! The film was called "Ecstasy". The notoriety of the film brought Hedy to HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!!! Some of Hedy's most famous films are Samson and Delilah, “Boom Town”, “Tortilla Flat”, “White Cargo”, “Ziegfeld Girl”, and “Ecstasy”, but her biggest box-office success was “Algiers”. Hedy also had a lot of jobs including acting, producer, additional crew, soundtrack, and archive footage. She is mainly known for being an incredibly famous actress. Hedy Lamarr also had some amazing nicknames from Hollywood - “Hollywood's loveliest legendary Queen of Glamour.” She was 5’7.

Next let's see what Hedy Lamarr invented The Hollywood movie star had a passion for science and engineering, “her brain overflowed with idea after idea for useful inventions.” Hedy Lamarr invented many useful inventions such as a new traffic signal, yellow light, glow in the dark dog collar, and many more. Hedy’s greatest invention is the frequency hopping spread spectrum. This is a breakthrough for scientists; it helps keep things private on our cell phones and defends computers from hackers. Hedy did not get much recognition for her amazing invention. In 1997 she and George Anthiel were honored with the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and later that same year, Lamarr became the first female recipient of the BUBIE spirit of Achievement Award. Hedy Lamarr shattered stereotypes and earned a place among the 20th century’s most important women inventors.

Now let's learn what Hedy Lamarr did in World War 2. Hedy Lamarr helped a lot in World War 2, let's go see what she did. Hedy Lamarr's movies helped people escape the talk of war, if only for a few hours. Lamarr wanted to help with the war, so she worked really hard and came up with the Hopping system with Goege. Then they sent the patent application to the government they waited and waited, then more than a year later they received the patent they immediately handed it to the United States Navy unfortunately, the Navy had neither the time nor money. They refused to develop the invention, then they classified the technology secret!!! This prevents anyone including the inventors, from using it.

So, Hedy looked for another way to help her adopted country defeat the evil Nazis. She realized she could use her popularity to help win. She traveled across the country and held sale rallies. She sold 25 million dollars' worth of war bonds. Hedy also volunteered at the Hollywood canteens, a club for American servicemen soon to be sent into battle. To lift spirits, she would chat and dance with them. She was happy to have helped the soldiers and sailors.

Hedy Lamarr is a really cool lady and accomplished so many things. I loved researching her. I learned so many amazing things. She is a real role model; I admire her. I hope you enjoyed learning about Hedy Lamarr.

Hi, today I will be talking about Fritz Haber, First, I will talk about his birthday, and after that I will tell you about what he did, and then finally I will tell you about his family and how he died.

Fritz Haber was born on DEC 9th 1868 in Breslau Prussia and died on January 29th 1934. He was born into wealth and he was Jewish, and his mother died in childbirth. Fritz Haber’s father was a prominent chemical merchant. Fritz Haber really liked science at an early age. Fritz Haber was an only child, although he had three half-sisters.

Now let's talk about what Fritz Haber did. So, he got a Nobel prize in science for making the Haber – Bosch process which synthesizes ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen which causes the mass production of fertilizers (which gives people food) helps nearly half the globe. But Fritz Haber is also known for not only saving billions of lives he is also known for killing millions of lives for making this poison gas and overseeing its use in WWI Fritz Haber was involved in WWI as I just told, you he was called the father of chemical warfare. The way he used chlorine gas as a weapon killed millions of beget loving freaks (or French solders) by suffocation. Some other scientists called him a war criminal who deserved prison.

So that was fun, but a little disturbing. So now let's talk about something else like his family. Fritz Haber’s family was a little crazy. So, you already know this, but Fritz Haber’s mother died in childbirth, but he married twice first Clara Immerwahr (died in1915) second to Charlotte Nathon divorced in 1927, and he had three children one with Clara named Hermann, and two with charlotte named Eva and Ludwig.

So, as you know Fritz Haber was born in 1868, so he died, and he died at the age of 65 because of heart failure in base Switzerland while on a route to Palestine to discuss the prospect for a poison

NIKOLA TESLA

Today I'm telling you about Nikola tesla some of these facts will blow your mind and I'm happy to tell you about Nikola tesla.

Now, I'll tell you about him and some facts. Nikola tesla was born on July 10th, 1856, and he made inventions that some people use every day. He made the tesla coil, AC, and Moters. Those are only three of his many inventions he made.

Now, let's look at some more inventions and his hobbies. It was said that tesla found interest in poetry, reading, and inventing things and those are a few fascinating hobbies. Nikola tesla made many inventions that includes, the tesla coil like I mentioned earlier, AC generators, and electric circuits and like about 40 more which is a crazy number of inventions.

And now for the mind-blowing facts I promised at the beginning. The first mind blowing fact is that numerous people stated that he could have possibly created the death star and its crazy! Just think about all the remote-control items he made. Another crazy mind-blowing fact is that Nikola tesla fell in love with a white pigeon and if I'm completely honest that's pretty mind blowing in my opinion. And the last fact that is a huge coincidence is that Nikola tesla was born during a lightning storm, and he worked with electricity.

And those reasons are why I like Nikola Tesla and think he is interesting.

The Life of Hedy Lamarr

We will now talk about Hedy Lamarr a Hollywood actress and the invent of her co-inventions of a frequency-hopping technology that forms the basis for modern wireless communication technology like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth. Let's see what she was like when she was a kid, her as an adult, and what did she do?

First When she was a kid-kid life, she pulled apart a clock and repaired it. When was she born and when did she die? November 9, 1914, in Vergina Astria and she died January 19, 2000, at the age of 85 years old in Cassle berry Florida. Now let's move on to what she did?

Next What did she do? She invented a “Secret Communication System” for WWII and so none of the enemies figured out what the message was that is sent-cool fact that she loved dogs so much she made a glow-in-the- dark collar! Now let's move on to the last topic, the average IQ for a human is 85 to155 but her IQ is 140. She struggled with personal challenges like drug addiction, anyways she married 5 times, and she had 3 kids.

Finally, THE QUOTES: “any girl can be glamorous all you have to do is stand still and look stupid” “the only thing we must fear to fear itself” I must quit marrying men who feel inferior to me. Somewhere, there must be a man who could be my husband and not feel inferior. I need a superior inferior man”. “My problem is, I'm a hell of a nice dame, The most horrible whores are famous. I did what I did for love. The others did it for money”.

In conclusion, I think she is very cool, and I am thankful for what she did. She helped us for communicating

Issac Newton

Issac Newton is an important person that revolutionized science forever and is somehow both underrated and overrated. 

The man, the myth, the legend Issac newton was born at 1642 and died in 1727, if you weren’t fast enough, he lived 84 years. A funny thing is, Issac was born on the exact same year the famous astronomer Galileo Galilei died. Issac newton’s mother was a doctor, so he had medical knowledge from a noticeably young age, however, I am unsure if this meant much of anything to his later life. Also, he built a sundial from scratch when he was nine. 

Enough about when he was a kid, let us talk about Issac when he was an adult! Issac figured out how and what gravity is, created calculus, and discovered the technicalities of light and colors, and in only 18 months! Issac created the book Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica; a book about physics and philosophy, at 44 years old. Another funny thing about him is, he thought the world would end, but in a much later than you’d expect; 2060 was the date pridicted. Out of his 84 years of life, 30 of them were spent studying alchemy, which is the process of turning metals into gold. Issac thought that the wind was “unreliable,” so he made a mouse-powered windmill, and a farmer even tested it for him with corn. 

Lastly, here are just some rapid-fire facts about Issac. Albert einstein said that his achievements could've not been done without is discoveries. Just like albert, Issac newton has a special equation he made, f=ma, means mass, in kilograms, times acceleration in meters a second, is the force in the inch-pound system. In April of 1705, Issac was knighted by queen Anne, but just because they were desperate for more. 

In conclusion, Issac was and is a cool and important person that started the modern revolution 200 years before it was even a thing. Also eat apples.

Hi guys! It's me, Tinker. As I share my life, there is going to be lots of fun; let’s do something fun. My favorite shoes as a shoe designer are the Travis Scott Mochas and Jordan 4 Blue Thunders. My favorite Jordan that I have created is the Jordan 11. My least favorite is Jordan the 15. Have you ever wondered which people make which shoes? Well, that’s my job: designing shoes. Looking at everything in my life and creating it into a different thing. Some people think that shoes are just a clothing item. It's a whole entire way of life to express yourself. You can make $100 from selling shoes or you can make a million dollars from selling shoes. It truly does change peoples’ lives in a way that is unexplainable. 

 

Tinker Hatfield is one of the most creative and legendary shoe designers of the century, and some people would say of all time. Tinker was born on August 30, 1952, in Hillsboro, Oregon. He studied architecture at the University of Oregon and joined Nike in 1981. He started designing shoes in 1985. Phil Knight credits Tinker and the Air Jordan 3 with saving Nike and keeping Michael Jordan from going to Adidas. 

In college he was very good at playing basketball. He was an all-star running back for the University of Oregon and All-American track and field in hurdle and pole vaulting. He was the top athlete in Oregon in 1970 but an injury to his ankle that needed 5 surgeries and 2 years of rehabilitation ended his sports career. He did track and field under the coaching of Bill Bowerman, co-founder of Nike.  

Tinker was the lead designer for Air Jordan III to XXV, co-designed Air Jordan 2010 and XXX. Hatfield made legendary Nike Air MAG, also known as Back to the Future shoes, re-creating the shoes that Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II, which takes place in 2015.  The shoes were first released to the public in 2011, 22 years after the movie, and then they dropped a batch in 2016 again. The sales raised money for Parkinson’s Disease. Hatfield also made Jordan XX, XXIII, XXV, and XXIX. Made bat boots for Michael Keaton for Batman and Batman Returns movies. 

In conclusion, the shoe industry and the shoe community are one of the most extrovertly amazing fashion influences that you will ever see and that will ever be created. Shoes are a staple of life to some people. Shoes are so expensive that people must smell them to ensure they’re not fake. It’s addicting. Just like if you eat too much chocolate from your mom’s chocolate box and then you can’t stop. Once you start selling shoes and appreciating them you cannot stop, and it becomes a part of your life.

As some people know I love Nike and everything about it and I’m fascinated by the shoe industry and millions of dollars getting exchanged only in shoes every single day. But I don’t just like shoes. Sure, it’s a very big part of my life, but it’s not all of it. I like to go mountain biking, rock climbing, and drawing and creating art. My favorite thing about shoes is they’re like a little angel. There are many of them, and they’re all different and created for just one person. I hope the shoe industry gets even more people into it and I would recommend that you get more because it's fun. If you’re hesitant, I’ll just say that it’s like trading Pokémon cards or sports cards. Thank you for listening to my report.
