Marco Polo

Marco polo was born in Venice Italy in 1254. He was a writer and a explorer and has travelled all through Asia. He went to China with his Dad Nicoolo Polo and his Uncle Maffeo Polo. They began to travel to Asia when Marco was 17 years old. They travelled through desert, Mountains, and across many Oceans. They finally reached China after four years of travelling. During his travels, he was captured and held for 3 years and then released in 1299. After his release, Marco Polo never returned to China again. Marco Polo then returned to his home after 24 years of being gone during his explorations. Marco Polo had a wife and they were very much in love. They began dating and then got married and had four kids. In 1324, Marco Polo died at 69 years old and was buried in the church of San Lorenzo in Venice, Italy.
